The UK Career Academy Foundation (UKCAF) is a national movement of employers, schools and colleges www.careeracademies.org.uk. It aims to improve prospects for young people, between the ages of 16 and 19, by equipping them with theoretical business and financial knowledge and practical hands on experience to achieve their goals and make informed choices about their futures.
Lakehouse is a board member at North West Kent College and Southwark College, supporting the programme with advice, mentoring, guru lectures, work experience and employment opportunities.
Jon Brookes, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, says: “We are delighted to be part of this well respected innovative programme. The fact that it incorporates business knowledge and work experience gives students a unique insight into our business environment.”
