Face painting and fairground rides were all part of CityWest Homes' celebrations on Saturday 6 September to launch their 2008 Fun Day, supported by Lakehouse. Despite the wet and windy weather conditions, members of the local community gathered to enjoy the activities, which included a creative drawing and colouring competition for children aged 3-15 years, provided by Lakehouse.
All those who entered received a prize and winning entries received remote controlled cars and cuddly toys. Lenny Lakehouse, the company mascot, was very popular, circulating amongst the children and making new friends wherever he went. He gave the children health and safety workbooks together with pencil sets and talked to them about the importance of keeping a safe distance from all building sites.
The Lakehouse team distributed diaries and SIM card readers to adults and children, helping them to back up their data by downloading their mobile phone numbers. CityWest Homes is a key client for Lakehouse and we were happy to join the local community for the fun and games.
