Public Buildings

Lakehouse's work in this sector extends to public buildings such as fire stations, MOD property, town halls, libraries, crematoriums, leisure centres, park buildings, and community centres.

Our service offering includes construction, refurbishment, planned maintenance, roofing repairs and renewal, together with services upgrades and renewals, in both occupied and unoccupied premises.

We have extensive experience of delivering projects under a wide variety of contracts including NEC, JCT, GC Works, and Partnering forms, with values ranging from £100k on frameworks up to £6m for new build projects.

Lakehouse was responsible for constructing Harold Hill Fire Station, the first fire station to be built in London for twelve years. It has since achieved two awards - a National Site Award from the Considerate Constructor Scheme, and Havering Council's Sustainable Design and Construction Award.
