Lakehouse's expertise in the education sector extends to Primary, Secondary, Further Education and Higher Education establishments. Our service offering includes construction, refurbishment, planned maintenance, roofing repairs and renewal, together with services upgrades and renewals, in both occupied and unoccupied premises.
We have extensive experience of delivering projects under a wide variety of contracts including NEC, JCT, GC Works, and Partnering forms, with values ranging from £100k on frameworks up to £10m for a new build project.
Working within the education sector presents its own challenges and we understand the importance of safety on site, and the safety of our operatives, building users, and the general public. Everyone that Lakehouse employs to work in this sector is vetted and approved by the Criminal Records Bureau.
Lakehouse has achieved a number of awards in the past few years, including National Site Awards for Southend Borough Council's Barons Court School, Essex County Council's Purford Green School, Royal Borough of Greenwich's Rockcliffe Manor School, Essex County Council's Doddinghurst School, and Hertfordshire County Council's Thorn Grove School. These awards recognise the top performing 7.5% of all registered Considerate Constructor Scheme sites.
