In 2007 Lakehouse was selected by Richmond Housing Partnership (RHP) for a seven year partnering contract for cyclical redecorations. Since that time Lakehouse has sponsored RHP's annual Fun Day in Twickenham.
The 2008 event attracted over 3,000 of Richmond's residents and free entertainment and activities were provided for all ages. Lakehouse's creative drawing competition was very popular with children aged 3 - 12 years, who were encouraged to enter a freestyle drawing or a picture they coloured themselves. Every child was given a prize for entering, bringing smiles all round. Star prizes, including a box of magic tricks and a dancing 'Sean the Sheep', were awarded for outstanding entries.
Paul King, Partnering Director for Lakehouse said "We really enjoy sponsoring the Fun Day. As one of the borough's partners it's good for us to get to know the community better and it's a perfect opportunity to give something back. The Fun Day always proves an enjoyable day out for people of all ages."
