During 2008 Lakehouse staff managed to raise £2,380 for staff-nominated charities, Essex Air Ambulance and Cancer Research.

Fund raising activities included social events such as a quiz night, a bowling night, a casino themed event and the annual Lakehouse Xmas party. A staff auction saw a bid being accepted for our Managing Director and a General Manager to cook a four course meal for a party of ten. The date was set for a Friday night in January and the evening was a great success and lots of fun for all involved.

The Staff Representative Group presented cheques to both charities on the 24th February 2009 when respresentatives from Essex Air Ambulance and Cancer Research came in to visit our offices and thank staff for their support.
