Lakehouse showcases its work for Hackney leaseholders

Hundreds of Hackney leaseholders took time out to attend an event at Hackney Town Hall, organised especially for them. The Leasehold and Freehold Open Day was an opportunity for residents to talk to staff from Hackney Homes and its contractor partners about the services that they receive in their home or estate.

Lakehouse was delighted to be joined by local trainees including Tarjah Cameron who is training to be a Resident Liaison Officer. A presentation about Lakehouse and our approach to refurbishment was delivered by the team and a handout on obtaining grants for energy improvements within the home was also prepared.

Other attendees included fire doors specialist GERDA, Digital TV, and advisory agencies such as LEASE.

Judith Morrison, Head of Leasehold and Right to Buy said: "Thank you to all the residents who came to the Open Day. We are absolutely committed to continuing to involve and engage leaseholders about the services that they receive."

Lee Wylie, Lakehouse Partnering Manager said: "It was good to meet our future customers and showcase the Lakehouse way. We are delighted to be working in the area and look forward to improving homes for local people."
