Camden appoints Lakehouse on £413M Framework

Lakehouse is one of only two partners to be awarded the £413m framework for the London Borough of Camden, making thousands of Camden residents a step closer to having vital repairs and improvements for their homes.

Work is due to commence in Autumn 2008 and Lakehouse will be responsible for borough wide electrical work and decent homes in the south, covering everything from fitting new windows, kitchens and bathrooms to upgrading wiring.

The contract will initially run for a period of five years with an option to extend for an additional five years.

Lakehouse's Southern team settles into larger premises

Lakehouse's Southern team has settled into its new offices, now occupying a converted barn in Odstock, near Salisbury. Headed up by General Manager, Dan Cosgrove, they are looking to gain contracts in Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and Surrey.

Their appointment to the Hampshire Tier 3 Framework, worth around £25M per annum, is opening up some fantastic opportunities to work with local authorities as well as the Hampshire Police.

Launch of Lakehouse's 500 Families Initiative

Lakehouse is delighted to announce a new partnership with Discover, a registered charity based in Stratford, which provides creative play and learning opportunities for children aged 0 to 11.

Since transforming their disused and uninhabitable basement into a fantastic space where children can let their imagination fly, Lakehouse has continued to develop a close relationship with the team at Discover. This month we have committed £12K to fund the 'Lakehouse 500 Families Initiative'. Our funding will enable 500 families to obtain a free pass to visit the centre and make full use of the facilities.

The launch of this initiative takes place at Discover on Friday 25th July and everyone is welcome. See www.discover.org.uk for further details.
