National Site Awards 2011 - two bronze awards

Lakehouse is celebrating its recent success at the National Site Awards 2011 - its sites at Holywell Primary School and Rye Park Nursery both received Bronze awards from the Considerate Constructors Scheme on Wednesday 13 April. 640 winners were selected from some 8,500 eligible sites.

Standards set by the scheme are high. Each year the top scoring 10% of sites are reviewed and shortlisted and only the top 7.5% go on to receive national awards. Construction Director Dean Ball said, "We are thrilled to win these awards and receive formal recognition for the high standards we set and maintain on site. Great strides have been made during the past two years to endorse the scheme, with our average score rising to 34.5. It's thanks to the continued hard work and effort of our site teams, and our CCS champions who promote good practice, that we have achieved these awards."

Last year Lakehouse was successful in winning awards for three sites - A Gold for Doddinghurst Primary School, and Bronze awards for Thorn Grove Primary School and Harold Hill Fire Station.
