International Safety Awards 2008

Lakehouse has scooped a prestigious international safety award from one of the world's leading health and safety training, advisory and audit bodies.

Following a rigorous assessment by an adjudication panel the British Safety Council has presented Lakehouse with its esteemed International Safety Award.

For an organisation to win this award, it must demonstrate that it has in place comprehensive health and safety policies, targeted plans and a clear commitment to health and safety from the shop floor to the boardroom. It must be committed to the promotion of a positive safety culture and provide clear evidence about the improvements it has achieved in health and safety during the previous year.

HSQE Manager Sid Clark says "This award recognises the crucial success that both the company and its employees have achieved in the pursuit of excellence in the management of health, safety, quality and environmental matters."
