Lakehouse’s Steve Hulbert has won the Newcomer of the Year Award, at Constructing Excellence's G4C Awards 2007. The event aims to encourage, recognise and reward exceptional young achievers in the UK built environment. ‘Newcomer of the Year’ is aimed at individuals who have made a significant impact on their organisation in their first year of employment.
Steve was offered work experience at Lakehouse through the company’s links with the Havering and Business Education Partnership, which aims to ensure that all people are offered every opportunity to enhance their experiences of life and work and raise their levels of achievement through links with the wider world.
Within three months' of joining Lakehouse Steve had taken up a full time post as Junior Administrator (Contracts).
Lakehouse was shortlisted for two categories, Employer of the Year and Diversity.
