CE London and South East Awards 2009 - Leadership and People Development Award

Lakehouse was delighted to be awarded the Leadership and People Development Award at the Constructing Excellence London and South East Awards 2009.

The award ceremony was held on 22 September at the Bleeding Heart restaurant in London and was an excellent opportunity for everyone to network and celebrate their achievements.

Constructing Excellence Chairman Vaughan Burnand gave an introductory speech before lunch was served, and awards were distributed between courses. Gerry Murray, part of Lakehouse's Business Development Team, was there to accept the award and say a few words about the entry submission: "I am thrilled that Lakehouse has been recognised and rewarded for all its efforts in this area. The company continues to make a huge investment in training and development and earlier this year we launched our innovative Lakehouse Management Academy, a bespoke training initiative for staff that is already reaping rewards."

Judges praised Lakehouse for the improvements resulting from leadership and training interventions, including some that were client driven.
