Lakehouse has achieved 'Star Status' with the Best Companies Accreditation 2009. To celebrate its success Carol King, HR Director, and Matt Flain, Recruitment Manager, attended a celebratory lunch at The Cumberland Hotel, Marble Arch, on 27 January, where they were presented with Lakehouse's Accreditation Award.
The Best Companies Accreditation acknowledges excellence in the workplace and focuses on workplace engagement, an integral component of any organisation's success and growth. The 'Michelin' style accreditation system recognises organisations by 'Star Status' - Lakehouse's one star is acknowledged as First Class.
Companies that apply for the accreditation are given a Best Companies Index score (BCI). The score is defined from employees' responses to questions within the Best Companies survey and this is how 'Star Status' is determined. The award quickly follows the recent accolade that saw Lakehouse listed as one of the top five construction companies in the Good Employer Guide.
