Home Group appoints Lakehouse to its £100m framework

Social housing provider Home Group has selected Lakehouse, together with 9 other construction companies, to help build in excess of £100million of homes, which equates to more than 1,100 homes during the next four years.

Lakehouse has been appointed to Home Group’s southern region development contractors’ framework which covers developments in London the East and South East, the South West and the Midlands.

Ian Tallentire, Home Group’s director of development, said: “Home Group has selected 10 companies which we believe will be able to help us deliver much needed social housing homes in the south of the UK. Each of the companies impressed us with their submissions and we are looking forward to working with them.”

Being appointed to the framework means that Lakehouse will now be able to bid for work constructing new build properties and refurbish general needs and supported housing projects. More than 90 companies made initial expressions of interest before the final 10 were selected.
