10 Apr 2012
Lakehouse is celebrating its recent success at the National Site Awards 2012, which was held at Plaisterer’s Hall on Wednesday 28 March. The awards recognise the top performing 7.5% of all registered sites that completed in 2011. Lakehouse’s construction division was well represented, and three Lakehouse sites were recognised with a prestigious award:
Barons Court School, Southend Borough Council, won a Silver Award Purford Green School, Essex County Council, won a Bronze Award Rockcliffe Manor School, London Borough of Greenwich, won a Bronze Award
Robert Biggs, Chairman of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, said: “We have seen some remarkable sites at these awards and this year is no exception. Each year we are delighted to see these standards being maintained and often exceeded, even throughout these tough times. I would like to congratulate Lakehouse for being nominated; you are setting a great example by demonstrating best practice within the industry.”
Standards set by the scheme are high, and only sites that have demonstrated the highest levels of consideration towards the neighbourhood and general public, the workforce and the environment are recognised and rewarded.
