Lakehouse awarded One Housing Group Framework
CHA Ventures, a non-charitable subsidiary of One Housing Group, has awarded Lakehouse a four year framework for construction of mixed-use housing developments as well as the development of related community facilities. Projects on this framework will be worth up to £5million.
Lakehouse a winner at Construction News Quality Awards 2010
On 24th June the best of the best of the construction industry were recognised with a coveted Construction News Quality Award. Lakehouse was delighted to receive a much deserved award for 'Corporate Social Responsibility'.
Lakehouse awarded £2million children's centre by London Borough of Enfield
We are delighted to announce that the London Borough of Enfield has awarded Lakehouse a contract worth over £2million, to expand Firs Farm Primary School, in Palmers Green. Most of the work will focus around the construction of a 925m square Early Years Centre, constructed with a steel frame, large cavity walls, profiled sheet roofing and timber/aluminium windows, all specified to achieve high energy performance.
Mayor Boris Johnson opens Lakehouse's flagship Building Lives Training Academy at Arlington House
10 June was an exciting day for Lakehouse; it heralded the launch of Lakehouse's flagship Building Lives Training Academy at Arlington House, Camden's hostel for the homeless. Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, officially opened the newly refurbished hostel, which now provides 3000m square of social enterprise and training space, together with 35 flats for intermediate rent and 95 high quality units for homeless people.
