Lakehouse short listed for Contractor of the Year Award 2010

Lakehouse has been short listed for the prestigious Contractor of the Year Award in Building Magazine's annual Building Awards 2010.

Lakehouse awarded £1.4million voids contract by Kensington and Chelsea

Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has awarded Lakehouse the £1.4million contract to undertake internal and external refurbishment of void basement flats in Elm Park Gardens, SW10. Work will include the design and construction of a domestic sprinkler system to each property.

LFEPA awards Lakehouse new BREEAM fire station in Walthamstow

Plans for a new fire station in Walthamstow have moved up a gear since the award of the major rebuilding project to Lakehouse. The £4.9million programme will see Lakehouse demolish Walthamstow's existing fire station and build a new three bay station on the same site.      

Mayor Boris Johnson opens award winning new fire station in Harold Hill

London's first new additional fire station for over a decade was officially opened by the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, on Thursday 11th February.

Lakehouse to transform Bygrove School, Poplar

February marks the start of London Borough of Tower Hamlet's £735K contract to extend and refurbish Bygrove Primary School, Poplar. The redevelopment will include construction of a single storey extension at the front of the school with some refurbishment work to existing classrooms.

Lakehouse champions 14-16 Diploma at Havering schools event

On 2 February Lakehouse joined the London Borough of Havering, representatives from local schools and over 130 parents, for an event at Langton's Hall, Hornchurch - a stone's throw from Lakehouse's headquarters.

Lakehouse provides internships for three local graduates

Lakehouse has provided three more internships, providing graduates with valuable work experience that could help them get a permanent position, and possibly even a full time paid position with Lakehouse.
