Handover of historic new homes in Greenwich
With the help of some local young people, Lakehouse has completed the first new homes built for Greenwich Council in decades, and the new tenants will be moving in shortly. The four 4-bedroomed semis are in Combwell Crescent, Abbey Wood, and are built on the site of a row of derelict council-owned garages.
Lakehouse awarded three Responsible Procurement Awards
Lakehouse beat off stiff competition to win three titles at the 2010 Mayor's Responsible Procurement Awards - outstanding contribution of the year, community benefits, and equal life chances for all. Other shortlisted companies included Carillion, Skanska, Amey, Mace, and Morgan Sindell. The awards ceremony was held on 6 December at London's Living Room, City Hall.
Lakehouse wins Construction Marketing Award
Lakehouse has been announced winner of 'best use of internal communications' at the Construction Marketing Awards, which were held on 2 December at the Waldorf Hilton Hotel in London.
