Royal Brompton and Harefield Trust (RBHT) has awarded Lakehouse a £1.3M contract to construct the new Advanced Lung Disease Unit at Royal Brompton Hospital.

The site area for the 26 week project will be located within the Royal Brompton Hospital complex, on Level 4 of the Fulham wing, which will remain occupied at all times.

Work will comprise the construction of medical, consulting and lecture facilities generally within the existing building. This includes demolition and alterations to the existing structure, new partitions, doors, finishes and mechanical and electrical works.

Lakehouse has recently completed Phase I of a £2.2M project at the Thoracic Theatre at Harefield Hospital for the RBHT. Mark Lynn, Senior Project Manager for RBHT is delighted with the finished product and has commented that it is not only to a very high standard but one of the best he has ever seen.
