Work on £2.1M new fire station is now underway at Harold Hill
This month marks the start of a £2.1M project to build a new fire station in Harold Hill. The London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA) has appointed Lakehouse to undertake the work which will transform three existing light industrial units into a 21st century fire station.
Lakehouse awarded £2M Brent Housing Partnership project
Lakehouse has been awarded a £2M external insulation cladding, repair and redecoration project for Brent Housing Partnership. The 22 week project will include the external and communal area repair and redecoration of fully occupied blocks of flats and street properties on the Brentfield Estate.
Lakehouse awarded £4M Planned Maintenance Framework for Broxbourne Housing Association
Lakehouse has been awarded Broxbourne Housing Association's Planned Maintenance Framework. The framework is worth around £4M per annum for a period of two years, with an option to extend a further two years. The general building work is expected to include doors, kitchens, bathrooms and associated services.
Lakehouse donates special reading books for under-achievers
Headmistress of our Lady's School in Camden Town, Moya Richardson, was delighted when Claire Williams, Lakehouse's Community Development Manager, offered to donate £600 worth of special reading books to help a year 3 class to improve their reading skills.
Lakehouse launches 'Get on your bike' initiative
Lakehouse has introduced cycles on various sites across Camden where we are undertaking Decent Homes work as part of the £413M 'Investing in Camden's Homes' framework. The 'Get on your bike initiative' is intended to help site staff travel around sites in Camden and has a number of benefits.
