Lakehouse an Ambassador for the Learning & Skills Council
Lakehouse's Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, Jon Brookes, has been appointed an Ambassador by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC), part of a network of around 30 representatives from London businesses and public sector leaders.
Mayor of Southend visits £3M project at Westcliff High School for Girls
On 22 April the Mayor of Southend, Cllr. Gwen Corrigan, dropped in to visit the site of the £3M building project at Westcliff High School for Girls. Lakehouse is responsible for the alterations being made to the existing school to form a link to the new block - as well as the construction of the three storey extension that will house the English and Psychology departments.
Phil Tidmarsh appointed Estimating Director
Phil Tidmarsh has been appointed Estimating Director at Lakehouse, further strengthening the management team that has been put in place to grow the business as part of its planned strategic development as a support services organisation.
Lakehouse to build UK's first centre of excellence in low carbon technologies
Lakehouse has been appointed to build the UK's first centre of excellence in low carbon technologies for buildings. The Centre for Efficient and Renewable Energy in Buildings (CEREB) at London South Bank University (LSBU) will be opened in April 2010 by Mayor Boris Johnson.
Lakehouse awarded £4.5M Lewisham BSF project
