Southend Borough Council awards Lakehouse £1.97M BREEAM school project

Southend Borough Council has awarded Lakehouse a £1.97million contract for the extension and reconfiguration of Barons Court Infant School and Nursery, Westcliff-on-Sea. The school, located in an area of relative deprivation, is the smallest mainstream school in the borough and has the highest per pupil funding of any primary school in the borough. The expansion will make the school more cost effective and provide much needed additional primary school places.

Five young people celebrate new apprenticeships with Lakehouse

Five young people celebrated starting trade apprenticeships with Lakehouse on Friday 6th November. All of the apprentices are local people who have been taken on to work on Camden Council's Decent Homes programme, which has already seen 2,000 properties benefit from kitchen and bathroom improvements.

Residents celebrate first year of Camden's Decent Homes Programme

150 residents gathered at the Tybalds Estate, Holborn, on 29th October to celebrate the first year of Camden's Decent Homes programme with a community fun day organised by Lakehouse. During the first year 2,000 homes have benefited from Decent Homes improvements; 1,900 bathrooms and 1,800 kitchens have been refurbished or replaced.
