30 Jun 2007

Lakehouse has been shortlisted for the prestigious 2007 LABC National Built in Quality Awards in the category of 'Best Access/Disability Regulations Innovation' for DDA works to Baces Carlton Centre. BACES is Brent Council's direct provider of education and training in the borough.

The £1.15M contract included the refurbishment and modernisation of a Victorian building and substantial DDA works to make access for people with disabilities easier. The new look Carlton Centre was officially opened by Brent Mayor, Councillor Bertha Joseph, and is set to become a local landmark due to its spectacular outside lift.
