Lakehouse a winner at the G4C New Generation Awards 2007

Steve Hulbert has won the Newcomer of the Year Award at Constructing Excellence's G4C Awards 2007. Within three months' of joining Lakehouse Contracts Steve had taken up a full time post as Junior Contracts Administrator.

Steve was taken on as part of the company's work with the Havering and Business Education Partnership, which helps young people who have been excluded from school to develop better social skills.

Lakehouse signs ten year lease for new offices in Kent

Lakehouse has signed a ten year lease on new offices in Borough Green. The new facilities are bigger and better than our existing premises and will provide a better working environment for the new team including Vince Wilson, Contracts Manager; Doug McInnes, Senior Surveyor and Mark Parmenter, Contracts Manager; all of whom will be based there full time. There is plenty of room for expansion and that's just as well since our business is growing steadily in and around the Kent area.

Lakehouse appoints Health & Safety Manager

Lakehouse is delighted to announce the appointment of Sid Clark FCIOB, TECH.IOSH, MIIRSM as Health & Safety Manager. Sid has fourteen years' experience in health and safety and has worked in the construction industry since 1976. He will be responsible for all health and safety matters together with quality and the environment.

Sid's arrival fulfils the company's desire for a dedicated full-time resource and demonstrates the Board's commitment to health and safety. Lakehouse will continue to receive support from its external health and safety advisor, Safety Services (UK) Limited.
