Progress on site has been good and the project is half way through the programme with Lakehouse having managed a complicated off site decant and works on a confined London site. I have found Lakehouse and their personnel to be professional and pro-active in their approach to this project.

Lakehouse have demonstrated their ability to manage the contract co-ordinating with all stakeholders, furthermore bringing together an established local supply chain to enable progress whilst at all times maintaining quality, and health and safety provision and awareness. 

I look forward to a continued working relationship with Lakehouse with the aim of bringing the project to a successful conclusion to provide much needed primary school places in the locality.

I am writing to thank you for your assistance in the delivery of an excellent Careers in Action event. The event was a real success with the pupils gaining greatly in their understanding of the range of different careers, including the skills and qualifications needed to work within them.

Feedback from the schools involved was excellent, thanks to the commitment and enthusiasm that you showed to the students. Both pupils and their teachers thoroughly enjoyed their visits and learnt a lot. We appreciate your help and hope that we can look forward to working with you on future projects with Greenwich school pupils.

I would like to express my thanks to all those involved in the ablutions refurbishment projects at Arborfield Garrison. This was a demanding package of works against a fixed timeline, with the requirement to hand over each phase to the client's rigid deadline in order not to affect troop training or block leave periods.

Not only were the three linked projects delivered on time, there were a further nine projects running on these ablutions, each of which had the potential to delay or derail the main project. I am delighted to report that you and your sub contractors took this in your stride and everyone played their part to deliver something we should all be proud of. It would be a pleasure to work with Lakehouse in the future.

The school has spoken very positively about Lakehouse working without causing them any trouble - "we hardly knew they were there" was one comment passed back to me. That's particularly valuable at schools where disruption is not just an irritation but a setback in young people's education. Thanks again for all your efforts.

I am so thrilled with my kitchen and bathroom/wc, everybody has been so kind and helpful. Rebekah always had a smile and made me feel safe and confident in all the works. Thank you for helping to make the project at Rochford Library such a success. You managed to combine diligence, patience and tenacity with good humour which enabled the job to reach a successful conclusion. All problems along the way were dealt with efficiently and without fuss. Good teamwork is invaluable in projects such as this and your contribution was very much appreciated.

I would like to thank everybody who was involved in the work, which included installing a complete new kitchen, bathroom, and a new system boiler with two new radiators. During the whole procedure I was fully informed as to what I was to expect each day and knew precisely when I was to expect the workmen and for how long.

All the men worked with complete regard to myself and to my personal belongings and even went out of their way for me if I asked them to do something. The end result has made my quality of life much more pleasurable and I can look forward to the cold winter months knowing I will be lovely and warm this year. I am so proud of my kitchen and bathroom and have had many friends admire the work.

I would like to thank everybody involved very much. I would highly recommend all involved to do a thorough, professional job.

What a wonderful job Lakehouse has done in my flat, providing a beautiful new kitchen, installing a new boiler and heating system, and modernising the bathroom.

The whole process was superbly managed. At the end of the process the finishing was immaculate, with attention to every last detail. I am incredibly grateful.

From the day Lakehouse were appointed to the project right until the end we have been very pleased with the levels of communication and liaison with the school. The consideration shown by the contractors to the needs of the school and their willingness to show flexibility has ensured the project has gone very smoothly with interruptions to the daily life of the school kept to a minimum.

We have also been very fortunate that the contractors allowed pupils and staff to make site visits from the beginning of the project right up to the end; these opportunities gave our pupils the chance to learn about the way the building is constructed and feel involved in this development.

The staff and pupils are all very excited with the new building which we are sure is going to be a significant landmark as well as an excellent addition to our facilities.

Please be kind enough to pass on my regards to the contract staff and subcontractors who worked on this contract. The site was well run, neat and tidy, and the spirit of partnering flourished throughout the contract period.

Even when there were moments of contractual dispute the atmosphere remained cordial and professional.

I was selected by my fellow residents to represent them at site meetings during the recent works installing the green roof at Webheath.

They have asked me to convey their thanks to all concerned for the final result, the friendliness and consideration of the workmen, and in particular the personal attention to detail.

We rather dreaded the thought of contractors on site for a major project, but our fears were unfounded, thanks to your care for us and our neighbours. We would like to thank you and your company for the time you have given to the programme and the support you have given our students whilst they have been placed with you. The experience that is provided by this scheme is extremely valuable to the students and we are very grateful for your participation.

Thanks for the very professional way that Lakehouse carried out recent, high profile project works for me in the central London area. The most important job was a critical job. The works were carried out despite many design discrepancies to the highest standard and was accepted by the client and customer with minimal snags and numerous plaudits.

I have no doubt the build would not have been the success it has without the excellent services we received from Lakehouse, who did everything they could not only in producing what I think is an excellent building, but also working with us to ensure that the children's centre could continue to deliver the services while the building works were being undertaken.

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you and your staff on being recognised at the Contract Journal Awards 2008 as 'Best in the Business' in the categories of 'SME Contractor of the Year' and 'Training Award'. As a supplier it is really pleasing to know that our client aspires to achieve these levels of excellence.

From start to finish, all the work - ripping out, electrics, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting, flooring, etc. - has been done in a very competent and (most importantly) considerate manner. I've heard from others too how happy they are with the improvements completed in such a friendly and co-operative way.

The Committee takes pride in the condition of the site, both the buildings and the gardens, and the work undertaken by your company at the crematorium over the past two years has been of a high standard and carried out with sensitivity and a high level of co-operation with the Manager to ensure the minimum of disruption. At the official opening last week, the general consensus was that the new cloister extension blended in extremely well with the original. This says a great deal about the quality of materials and workmanship used. Please pass on our thanks to all concerned with the delivery of this scheme.

Lakehouse has carried out a number of projects for Fareham Borough Council over the past 18 months. The most recently completed being the total refurbishment of our very own Council Chambers, in Fareham's Civic Offices. Lakehouse performed extremely well dealing with a frequently changing brief. I am pleased to say we have developed a relationship with Lakehouse and its operational team. When any problems arise we work together to determine a solution which suits everyone.

I have worked with a few contractors during my time as the barrack Quartermaster but I have found Lakehouse to be one of the best. It makes a change to have a manager on site that is personable, effective and aware of vital timelines.

I have pleasure in informing you that the level of service provided by Lakehouse and its contractors has been of a very high standard. The site manager and his team were very helpful to me and my elderly tenants at all times and were always pleased to address any problem promptly. All the staff were courteous and friendly and above all, tidy and quiet. It is a challenge to keep elderly people happy during times of major works and this has been made much easier for me with the patience of your staff.

Just wanted to tell you how pleased we were with the work recently carried out on our behalf at Granard House. We are all quick to complain when things go wrong so I feel it only right to give praise when praise is due.
