On 24th June the best of the best of the construction industry were recognised with a coveted Construction News Quality Award. Lakehouse was delighted to receive a much deserved award for 'Corporate Social Responsibility'.
Gary Bruce, Communities and Regeneration Director, was there to accept the award, saying "We work harder than most to give something back to the communities we work within, and this award is well deserved. Our CSR team and the numerous staff who have volunteered their support at various training and employment initiatives, as well as fun days and charitable events, are to be thanked and congratulated for their inspiring work."
The awards celebrate the quality demonstrated by the UK construction industry and encourage innovation, management best practice and team work. The judges said "Inspirational leadership translated into business bottom line. This company is a real social entrepreneur."
The night brought together over 600 of the industry's professionals to honour those who have performed outstandingly over the last year. Lakehouse is very proud to be recognised as one of the best of the best!
